In the Summer of '04/05, about 12, maybe 14 times, to my knowledge, ABC Radio National broadcast a long speech by Thomas King. In it, he told a yarn with the punchline "It's turtles all the way down".
On asking ABC Media Watch if they thought 12 times in a few weeks was reasonable, they told me I "should get a TV" and take it up with RN, who told me that "listener demand" is what determines programming.
Now that I've heard AWAYE's program on the 1950s movie, Jedda, five times, three of them this week, I'm no longer pointing a finger at this program, I'm pointing the bone.
